Skoda India has unveiled the facelifted Kushaq, opening pre-bookings ahead of a price announcement expected in March.
The updated Kushaq brings a refreshed design, more premium interiors, new features, and an updated powertrain, making it a strong contender in the compact SUV segment.
At the front, the Kushaq adopts Skoda’s latest Modern Solid design language, featuring sleek LED headlights with eyebrow-style daytime running lights and L-shaped signatures connected by a segmented light bar on the grille, inspired by the larger Kodiaq.

The bumper has been reshaped with a bold silver skid plate, while the sportier Monte Carlo variant adds twin red stripes on the grille, gloss black trim replacing chrome accents, and exclusive badging. The side profile sees new 16- and 17-inch alloy wheels, while the rear features a connected LED light bar with illuminated ‘SKODA’ lettering and sequential turn indicators.

Inside, the Kushaq offers a more refined and premium cabin. Prestige trims feature a black-and-beige finish, while Monte Carlo variants come with a striking crimson theme. The SUV now comes with a larger 10.25-inch digital driver display, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, dual-tone ambient lighting, and a panoramic sunroof. The boot capacity has increased to 491 litres, up 106 litres from before.

A segment-first rear seat massage function adds to the comfort, while six-way powered and ventilated front seats, leatherette upholstery, automatic climate control, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, front parking sensors, a 6-speaker audio system, and a wireless charging pad enhance convenience.

The Kushaq facelift also integrates the Google Gemini AI assistant for hands-free infotainment control and real-time updates. Safety features include six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, traction control, electronic differential lock, hill-hold assist, ISOFIX mounts, rain-sensing wipers, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. The SUV retains its 5-star Global NCAP rating.
Under the hood, the facelift retains the 1.0-litre and 1.5-litre TSI petrol engines. The 115hp 1.0-litre now comes with an 8-speed torque-converter automatic option, replacing the previous 6-speed automatic, while a 6-speed manual is still available. The 1.5-litre engine continues with a 7-speed DSG.

The facelift also launches a Monte Carlo variant with unique styling touches, including red grille stripes, blacked-out accents, dual-tone paint, and exclusive badging.
